1. Am I a Candidate for Invisalign?
Invisalign is suitable for teenagers and adults who have a full set of permanent teeth. You’re a good
candidate for this clear aligner treatment if you have mild to moderate orthodontic issues like crowding,
spacing, overbites, or underbites. It's also important that you’re willing and able to commit to wearing
the aligners for 20 to 22 hours every day.
2. How much does Invisalign cost in Perth?
Our price starts from $5,000, with final costs depending on case complexity.
Our dental clinic is located in the suburbs of Como and Manning in Perth, Western Australia. Find us now
to discuss your custom invisible braces options!
3. How long does Invisalign treatment take?
Most patients complete treatment in 6–12 months. Minor corrections may take 3–6 months, while complex
cases require 12–24 months. Wearing the clear appliances 20–22 hours daily ensures you stay on schedule.
4. Is Invisalign painful?
Invisalign is significantly more comfortable than traditional braces. You'll experience mild pressure
when starting each new aligner set—a sign it's working. This typically subsides within 2–3 days. No
mouth ulcers or bracket irritation.
5. Can I eat normally with Invisalign?
Yes! Remove your clear aligners before eating or drinking anything except cool water. Enjoy all your
favourite foods without restrictions. Simply brush your teeth before reinserting your appliance.
6. How often do I visit the dentist?
Every 6–8 weeks for thorough 15–20 minute progress checks. Much less frequent than traditional braces
appointments. We offer flexible scheduling to suit busy Perth lifestyles.
7. How do I clean my aligners?
Brush clear aligners gently with a soft toothbrush and lukewarm water twice daily. We recommend using
polident cleanser to clean or soak them. Avoid hot water (warps plastic) and coloured soaps (cause
staining). Rinse throughout the day.
8. Is Invisalign Covered by Insurance?
The Invisalign cost is not covered by Medicare. However, some private health insurance extras
policies may offer partial coverage for dental care and orthodontic treatments. The level of coverage
varies depending on your specific policy and provider.
It’s important to check with your health insurance provider to confirm if your policy includes
orthodontic benefits and understand any waiting periods or annual limits that may apply.
